It's not my thing but I really want to try. With our small apartment, we only can use the space in the balcony. Okay... Starting from a small fuchsia box *girly* filled with herbs, I hope I can continue with tomatoes and chilis. At the balcony?

Funny Cake Balls

Funny? Why? Because the cake itself was not as good as I wanted. Not moist, not yummy. But I believe it's healthy since the ingredients are healthier than usual. For the sweet taste, it used honey. For the red color, it used beet. Check the original recipe at Weelicious site, ok? It's about beet cupcake, I think.

I made a mistake in preparation. I can't tell you more, too ashamed :(. So the result was not okay.

Then I mixed all with some nutella to make cake balls. And here was the funny part. My girls and I made a trial with the decorating color ~ white chocolate, melted, then mixed with red & yellow food colorants. After we pour it on the meat-look-alike balls, Hahaa! All the cake balls looked like meat balls with sauce. My big girl said: "Hm, suddenly I want spaghetti with meat balls".

Ok then, I decided to add some sprinkles on those balls. Prettier now.

Well, anyway, it was fun.

Homemade Chicken Nuggets

Watching the video from Mama Koki Handal about rainbow nuggets, I said to my daughter (the big one):

"So, do you really want to try to make chicken nuggets?"

She said yes. Actually we have already seen one video in YouTube about making simple chicken nuggets. But the rainbow version made us curious.

With broccoli & carrot, this was the result. The photo was taken during earth hour last weekend.

Second photo, before fried. It looked like fish terrine made by my mother-in-law ;)

Now we have so many homemade chicken nuggets in the freezer.

Iris Dress, First Trial

I.have.a.problem.of.health. So, I have been spending hours on the bed. Not a serious one, but yea... I need some rest.

During my precious time of resting, I remember this Iris Dress I made last week. Personally, I hate the result. Not perfect at all. I think I have a problem with understanding the pattern.
