Another Simple Zippered Pouch

Berangkat ke mertua hanya membawa 4 pieces kain siap dijahit & zipper 30 cm. Mesin jahit, benang, gunting, dll pinjam sama bumer. Sekejab selesai... Langsung serah terima dengan kakak ipar. Done. Ngga hutang janji. Kata kakak ipar, "Ngga masalah terlambat ngasih daripada ngga jadi ngasih sama sekali". Ihihik... Noted!

PS. Semua printilan jahit dalam foto ini adalah milik bumer.

Another Michelle's Dumpling

Harusnya ini buat si sulung, tapi seperti biasa, si bungsu langsung nge-tag :( Sebelum dia ambil, saya harus foto dulu... :D

Lumayan nih kalau ada sisa2 kain dari project bikin baju or tas. Dapet lah satu dumpling... O iya, sekali lagi, pola dan tutorialnya ada di blog Michelle Patterns ya. Saya belum buat yang The Harder One. Next time akan coba buat...

One euro fabrics

Last Sunday we went to another Bourse de Couturière in Saint Jean le Blanc. I saw some interesting fabrics but I didn't really need them. I focused my eyes on sewing threads. Nope, I couldn't find any.

But my little one wanted two pieces of fabrics, small cuts, one of them must be a fabric scrap. The lady put 0.50€ each for the price. So I paid 1€ for all.

Yesterday I worked on those fabrics. I made a backpack to carry my daughter's bunny doll. It's also possible to use it as the bunny's sleeping bag :) My lil one seemed so happy. This morning she carried her bunny to school with that backpack-carrier.

And today, I used the fabric scraps for making a zippered pouch following the free tutorial from Michelle Pattern (the dumplings one). It was so fun... I think I will make another one.

Goji Berry Tea

I got this recipe from Babble Food and I directly fell in love... It was 5 a.m in the morning when I woke up, baked a cake and opened my twitter. Then I saw one tweet from Babble Food sharing about Goji Berry Tea! I had some goji berry in my kitchen placard, and also GoalPara green tea, honey (not maple syrup) and lime (not lemon). So I made one for me. Wonderful...! I introduced that tea to my husband, he loved it too. He said I had to make it in his parents' house (for them). I will!

Now we have another option in serving the goji berry... Yum-yum...
