Sofia Teen

It took almost one month for sewing this simple outfit. Seriously, it is very simple and easy. But since I had been so busy, so the process were so long (from tracing the pattern until finishing the outfit with the cotton linen bias tape).

Sofia Teen is to be used over a shirt, a tunic or a blouse. In France, we call it sur-blouse. For a mid season like now, this Sofia Teen in linen will be very useful... for my big daughter.

Done. Fiuh... I really want to make another one with a brighter color. Hm?

Talking about: Fabrics - Liberty of London

I have 10 minutes to write, so here what I want to share. Fabrics. I do not have a complete knowledge and experience about fabrics but I know a little bit about famous fabrics in France.

Started from: Liberty of London.

This fabric brand is very famous in here, and I think it's famous in Japan as well. Its price is quite high but I believe the quality is superior. I do not have a chance to buy any piece of it but I have one Liberty bias tape for making a bracelet (Liberty bracelet). It's very soft and it feels so nice.

Sewing Factory

Finally I received this 2 days ago. My sister-in-law sent it from Seoul two months ago >_<. We thought that we had lost the package. 

Very inspiring magazine. Even though I don't understand the language, I could enjoy the illustrations & of course, the pretty photos!

PS. Will take better photos with my camera!

Maxi Skirt

Kalau lagi stress, saya harus membuat sesuatu. Sesuatu yang menarik, bisa dipakai or bisa dimakan :). Kali ini sasaran saya adalah seonggok kain jersey yg sudah lama 'nganggur'. Dulu rencananya untuk dibuat maxi skirt tapi maju mundur karena khawatir gagal (jersey fabric euy...).

Ok, ini dia si maxi skirt yang bisa difungsikan juga sbg dress. Tinggal menunggu summer tiba utk dikenakan. Summer? Apakah tahun ini akan ada summer?

Falling in love with Dumplings

I have finally finished some more Michelle dumplings. And now I can say that I prefer the Harder (smaller) version with a thicker cotton for the lining. I might not make another dumpling with the cotton linen.

The best one for me is the one with a soft cotton for the exterior & a thicker cotton for the lining (in the picture: floral with beige zipper).

Weekend treasures

We spent the long weekend at my parents'-in-law to prepare things for the flea market on Sunday. Days of preparing (selecting, cleaning, etc) were quite exhausting for me but I always love flea markets. I could reduce our belongings that we don't need. And, I also could find things I need within our budget.

These were things I got yesterday. Of course for sewing!

Cloth Diaper Week 2013

I've been very calm these days... No new blogpost. It doesn't mean I did not do anything at home... :D Well, as you know, my friends and I have been preparing an event of Milis Popok Kain. And, today, some big parts are done. Happy...!
