Felt ornaments

I was just happy to make things from felts. So I made these bird and heart little pillow. Well, not really pillow, but so cute... Especially when my husband put it near his heart. My heart, near his heart. LOL.

The Author Pendant

This pendant was a usual net bezel one before I transformed into like this. As you can see, I gave filigree, not much, to make a different look.

Hope she likes it... :)

Autumn and Spring Rings

I made this for WJ Challenge Nov 2010. Even though I did not win, but I was happy to be able to create some rings again. And the most important thing was: semangat uwer2 lagi!

Laptop Sleeve

When I got this new laptop from my husband, I directly thought that I would need a laptop bag or at least, a laptop sleeve. After browsing for days, I couldn't find one that suited my need and my wish. So it ended up with: browsing for patterns. Yes, if I could not have it in the stores, trying to make by myself is the solution.

From some free tutorials, I heart those in the site Tipnut.com. Then I made this one, based on what I have seen on it, and on Etsy.com.

It is a very simple laptop sleeve. I started to think about the design when I got bad fever two days ago (well, at that time I could not sleep, so I made a mental design while lying on the bed). The fabrics are black felt and red (bordeaux, actually) fleece.

It was still during my bed-rest day when I made this laptop sleeve. At first, I was a bit disappointed because I made a wrong measurement. I thought it would be impossible to make exactly like I planned. But... creativity needs to be flexible. I adjusted the design. The result is, the laptop is not completely covered by the sleeve, but it's still okay. And i just realized after it finished that I did not cut the fabrics correctly (sisi kanan jadinya miring lho...).

I adore my very-simple-laptop sleeve with a little red flower on it :) It looks like a little blanket for my lappy. It is winter. Of course my lappy needs a blanket :D

My husband said: "Wow, so cute! I thought it was really impossible to insert the laptop inside. But you make it".

To be honest, I was thinking the same. Kirain udah ngga mungkin lagi deh buat dijadiin bungkusnya si lappy, bahkan udah kepikiran mau dibikin bungkus utk iPad-yang-kami-tidak-punya.

Senangnya tiada terkira!

It's very handmade. And it's not perfect. But the most important thing is, it's very useful and I don't have to spend much money for this thing.

Level: super easy, you don't need a sewing machine.
